Made with Moo Free: Chocolate Tiffins

We’ve got a new recipe for our Made with Moo Free campaign, it’s Chocolate Tiffins from Zoe! Thanks for the recipe Zoe.

Chocolate Tiffins


  • 500g Gluten free Oat biscuits
  • 30g high quality coco powder
  • 160g dairy free butter
  • 2 tbsp golden syrup
  • 2 tbsp caster sugar
  • 2 large bars of Moo Free chocolate


  1. First find a suitable pan to dish out the tiffin in and line it with clingfilm (to help remove the tiffin).
  2. Next place all the biscuits in a plastic sandwich bag and use a rolling pin to squash them into powder.
  3. Melt the butter, sugar and golden syrup together in a pot over medium heat.
  4. Mix the biscuits and coco powder together in a separate pot.
  5. Add the liquid ingredients into the biscuit mixture and mix thoroughly until the both have blended together.
  6. Add the mixture into the lined pan and used a fork to push down the mixture.
  7. Put it in the fridge and let it set for at least 30 minutes.
  8. Melt the Moo Free chocolate by breaking it to squares and slowly melting it in a bowl sat over boiling water.
  9. Once the Moo Free has melted evenly spread it over the tiffin mix and return it back to the fridge for at least an hour (until chocolate is completely set).
  10. Once completely set, pull the clingfilm up to easily remove the tiffin from the container and cut into squares.
